1. Reviewing Existing Technical Standards
Review all SEC standards across Generation, Transmission, and Distribution.
Perform gap analysis against IEC/IEEE/SASO/SAGC and best practices.
Identify missing standards and propose updates or new standards.
2. Developing and Updating Standards
Prepare and update Material Standards (MSS), Construction Standards (CS), Engineering Standards (ES), Standard Drawings (SD) and related Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Submit draft standards, address SEC comments, and deliver final versions in editable formats.
Ensure all standards follow the SEC template and reference hierarchy.
3. Creating New Standards & Conducting Technical Studies
Develop new standards requested by SEC.
Perform Technical Studies (e.g., benchmarking, value engineering) when needed to support standard development.
Work with SEC working groups and technical committees.
4. Knowledge Transfer
Provide Knowledge Transfer sessions for all updated/new standards.
Support SEC engineers for 3 months after each KT session.
