Acknowledgment of Power Consult Suppliers’ Code of Conduct: Ethical and Legal Standards for the Company’s Business
Power Consult is committed to the highest ethical and legal standards in all aspects of its business operations, engineering services, and technical investigations. This commitment extends to all entities involved in our work, including vendors, contractors, and subcontractors. Therefore, we require all such entities to formally acknowledge and adhere to the policies and principles outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct.
Declaration process:
Every supplier, subcontractor, or entity that does business with Power Consult, whether newly registered or existing, must acknowledge our Supplier Code of Conduct. This acknowledgment is a prerequisite for doing business with us. Furthermore, these entities must reaffirm the Code every three years or whenever Power Consult updates it.
Scope and intentions:
Our Supplier Code of Conduct applies to all current and prospective vendors, subcontractors, and entities seeking to provide goods, services, or personnel to Power Consult. We expect our suppliers to share our commitment to conducting business ethically, legally, safely, and environmentally responsibly. We have developed this code to define the specific requirements that suppliers must consistently adhere to in order to maintain their business relationships with us.
Supplier Code of Conduct:
- Compliance with laws and regulations: Suppliers working with Power Consult must comply with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations as outlined in procurement documents and contractual agreements. This includes strict adherence to technical specifications related to the energy sector.
- Environmental, Health, and Safety (HSE) Practices: Suppliers are responsible for ensuring their facilities and operations comply with government and industry environmental, health, and safety policies. They must adhere to all safety regulations, which is crucial to our construction inspection and supervision services.
- Business and Ethical Practices: Business between Power Consult and its suppliers must be conducted in accordance with the highest standards of ethical conduct, avoiding conflicts of interest, bribery, corruption, and fraud.
- Monitoring and Compliance: Suppliers are responsible for ensuring compliance with this Code of Conduct. They must conduct periodic internal audits and inspections to verify compliance and promptly detect any violations, in line with Power Consult’s focus on inspection and quality assurance.
Application:
Our supplier code of conduct provides a framework for our non-negotiable expectations and requirements. Power Consult reserves the right to exclude or terminate relationships with suppliers who violate this code.
